Out in the middle of the Fens is this derelict cottage which raises many questions. When was it last occupied? How many Happy Christmases happened there? When was it built? Who lived there? etc. etc.

No doubt a bit of research will reveal some of the answers but in the meantime it slowly crumbles away.

What a shame to see these beautiful places fall into rack and ruin, obviously once someone's very cherished home. Well captured, Albert. Carol

I love imagining all these things too, We live in an old house and I wonder what stories it could tell, I think they would be happy ones.
I love the light on your picture and the composition

The windows are like a very sad face, and that chimney is standing up very well.

Like me Albert,I do wonder of all the mystery and intrigue that went on in these old buildings.Seems a shame this one, as it seems to be crumbling piece by piece.A good take of dereliction here.
