Early misty morning down at the Launches on Derwentwater, same morning as Boats for Hire, there has been so many brilliant photos from this location over the years it is difficult to find something original. But for me that is what photography is all about???

Its another beauty Mike. Just a personal preference for me is that colour tone, - I would prefer a straight mono, - nothing wrong with what you have.

For composition, I would add a little more to the top, just to place the bottom of the boats on a third.

To be consistent with the bottom left vignette, I think adding a 4 corner vignette would be worth doing.

Mod uploaded.

Good work,

regards

Willie

Good work,

Hi Willie, I like the second mod, and you are right the top vignette kinds of leads your attention back into the photo, so will probably keep the tone color but had to vignette.

Thanks, Mike.

For me the tinted mono adds to the feeling of calm and serenity with a touch of cold and moodiness. Superbly composed, and very well worked Mike.
