Well cropped and good use of the lines around the lake
Nice work John - you must have had a fair walk to get to your vantage point. I actually like how 'out of the camera' this looks.

I like the smooth shimmer in the water, and the subdued light brings out the peaty tones in the land. Like Andy I appreciate the natural look, this is how the Lake District really is most days, and very beautiful too.
