I found another image taken in Trinidad, Cuba, which I quite like. Thanks for looking and for your time - comments and/or criticisms are most welcome.
A big thank you to DerekHansen for his UA for Saturday Shadows, which was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated.

A really fine tonal and textural study.
I wonder if you have considered b&w?

Bill
Like your composition Ann, excellent detail, colours and textures captured,
Fred.
I like the extreme irregularity of what you might expect to be regular shapes.

Tones and textures are first class Ann, excellent capture.

What a find....surely you could not have overlooked this excellent image, Ann: what a wonderful study of the colours, textures and detail in this dilapidated frontage.
If this were at home we'd regard it as a slum, but when on holiday abroad in far off places it takes on a different meaning, all part of the local charm, no matter what the locals might think.
Hope you have more delights to find up your digital sleeve.
Wow, a feast of colour, texture and decay. Wonderful.
Great tones and detail I think it would be even better in b/w IMO. nice capture Ann

Dilapidation and disrepair in bucket loads Ann, even I could do something to help this facade, I wonder if the inside was OK di you manage to see inside at all?
Maybe it's a defence against those who have less and not keeping up with the Jones?
I like the simple colours and all that wonderful detail. How lucky we are and still we moan about not having this or that.

No, we didn't get to go inside Dougie, so I'm not at all sure whether anybody lived here. We are lucky - the gap between the West and these under-developed countries is just widening.
I love this type of image Ann, great colours and lovely textures, and just a little thought provoking too.

gorgeous grot heaven. I like the floral decoration
blends in well with the green.
