Hi all, and welcome to my Sunday collection of Dungeness oddments. Smile In V1, a fine collection of stuff either left or washed up on the Beach at Dungeness. If you see anything here that might be yours, then you know where to go to collect itSmile
V3 is a lovely old Church on Romney Mash, first Built in the 1200's as a temporary Church, but later work on it has kept Fairfield Church as a lovely piece of subject matter for Photographers. Fairfield, by the way, comes from Medieval times meaning 'Field in which the Market takes place'. V4 is a lonely shot of Julie (jujupops) who I deserted to go off taking pictures elsewhere Smile
Hope you enjoy this quirky little set of diversity, and have a good Week ahead.
And I'd just like to add, WELCOME HOME MOIRA AND BILL Smile your company was as lovely as ever, and thank you so much for sharing some of your precious time with us.

All the best to all,

John Smile

Mankind manages to pollute whatever he comes in contact with: here the sea is returning what does not belong to the oceans.
Like the study of the old building at V 2 and the Church in the middle of nowhere is also a fascinating subject.
Julie is contemplating further shots I'm sure in V 4.
Nice set, John.
Ronnie.

V1 really appeals to me, it's like the lost property section, put together in a jumble of beach paraphernalia. Can't claim any of it as belonging to me, but I quite like that garland with the feathers in it.

None of my clothing in V1, John, it's all far too colourful - as you know I only wear blacks and browns WinkGrin
Thanks again to you and Julie for helping to start our week's holiday on such a high note. Amazingly we didn't have a single day's rain in Kent - it must have a micro-climate that smiles on us. It was windy, of course, which is why Julie is so well wrapped-up in V4.
Looking forward to a return visit one of these days.
Regards
Bill

A great collection John - v2 used to be a Decca Radar testing station - sadly not used for quite a few decades

The things some people leave lying around! Think I must be a really sad person as I've just spent hours (OK mins Smile) studying V1 seeing if I could find a pair Smile

Love V1 John, interesting jumble there - I'm going to leave the boats alone next time I go to Dungeness & look elsewhere for images, your last uploads are inspirational Smile
