Had very little time for photography yesterday but found a few minutes to pick this specimen for an indoor shot with the standard RonnieAG approach.
I tried to enhance the black b/g but given the complexity of the subject, I may not have been totally successful, so apologies in advance if it falls below acceptable levels.

My thanks to all who offered a comment on Monet.

Ronnie.

Very, very sharp. I tried to darken b/g with one of these and was almost there
but didn't save it! Hard to get round all those 'fringes'!
You've got a great exposure Ronnie.

You should have not been so honest Ronnie,
as I gave it a more than usual Mikbee going over here !!
A couple of ''bits'' still showing round the edges,
but as Kate says it must be hard to do.
Good shot though.
Mick.

Very nicely done Ronnie

Mikbee's comment caused me a lot of screen tilting and eye screwing up to try to find those "bits". OK he is right but I now need to go uncross my eyes.

This is a superb piece of work.

To be honest, I would never have the patience to mask a dandelion.
All I can say is that you succeeded very well and my respects regarding sharpness and masking.

Fantastic image Ronnie. I think you did very well with the masking. To do this with a dandelion I think would require the patience of a saint. Well done

I would never have noticed, Ronnie. If it's not obvious the brain won't process it unless you're specifically looking for it. I wasn't, so this is a beautiful shot.

Nice one Ronnie if you had not mentioned about the b/g enhancements we probably would not have noticed but you made all look closely and there is not much to worry about fine detail and exposure

Clean as a whistle and so fresh Ronnie, careful Jasmine doesn't swing the "studio" door open and the seeds will fly out the window.

I hate the damned things, but have to admit it is beautiful , especially when viewed as you have so superbly done here Ronnie. Both gardens upwind of me have a profusion of dandelions, so I'm really fighting a losing battle all the time!
