I'm playing around with some resizeing software (from OnOne). This is a detail from a much larger image.
If this looks familiar it is because I previously posted this shot while it still had two women in it.
This was shot in the streets of Istanbul. The woman is making lavash (a type of flat bread).
V2 is the full shot. My previous upload is at:

almost a mediaeval painting! could be here
.. the two women micht also make a nice crop as in framing their chapatis.
V1 is an excellent crop, it focuses attention on a very loving craft skill, passed down by women through generations. The poise in that hand is so beautiful.
I can see why you wanted to get rid of the yellow panel. A slight criticism - there is some haloing, and the processing has softened the left hand edge of the lady's scarf and sleeve.

I missed the original, but this is a very good crop. I like the negative space and her direction of gaze... they give a strong focus on her hands.

Awesome!!! Great close up! I love the lighting as well.

Yes, I see it now. I got a bit sloppy with my PS brush when applying the Photoshop "Field Blur" to the background around the scarf. Thanks for pointing this out. Before I do any printing (where it will really show up), I'm going to clean that up.
