This was taken last October on a very wet stay in central Devon. Totally bored one morning, so just got in my car and drove, heading towards small churches that I could see in the distance or features that looked interesting, but always away from the storm clouds until I had to head back to where we were staying.

I had to wait for my chance on this image as the road was much more busier than this image suggests!

Great sky detail and considered and well executed processing that gives a strong mono. The road to nowhere..... Would be interesting to see it with a figure disappearing up the road but none the less an appealing image.
