Continuing the lovely dinner theme - I'm quite enjoying rooting out stuff to go in these Smile I think I need to leave more food to go mouldy - must see what I've got lying around that can go fluffy......

Don't like the look of those locusts much Alison. Sad great idea though and a nice dark image.

The theme of beauty and decay is a classic in still life. I really hope you do more of these Cat.

The mood sends the imagination into motion. Especially the fallen wine glass. I just wonder what happened next.

Thanks folks Smile Of course now I've switched the laptop on again this morning I see that the image is rather darker than I thought it was (this laptop has habit of suddenly going bright and I don't always remember to adjust for that!).

As to what happened next - good question - I'll have to contemplate that!

Meanwhile I'll pop up a slightly lighter version!

Like the set up and V1 with the darker background is the way to go except I would just lighten the central part slightly.
V2 is too light and spoils the mood for me

I'm inclined to agree Richard - a bit of foamboard to the front might chuck a bit of light back next time I set something like this up - which may well be later this afternoon Smile

I'm going to explore the pet food section in Wilkinsons and see if they have any pigs ears Smile

Beauty and decay sums it up very nicely.
