Good day all,
Well here's that Dipper shot i mentioned last time! I still can't believe how close he came and i struggled to fit him in frame, as i didn't dare zoom out or pull back in case i scared him off. I used a high ISO to get this capture and though i have done my best to reduce it there is still a bit of noise in the image. But i would rather have a detailed sharp capture with some noise than a blurry image with no noise any day!

I'm really pleased that the Dipper allowed me this close encounter as this is a shot i have wanted for a long time and i'm still over the moon about it Grin

Thanks for the clicks and comments on my last upload, really hope you like this one - have a good day!!

A nice image of a very difficult bird to capture. Well done. Smile

Nice one...I know how hard they are to pin down......one landed as close to me as I was waiting for him but we both froze then he flew off...oh well next time I suppose.

Great eye contact. I so want to take a picture of one of these cute little birds. I love the way they bob up and down.

Great shot Scott, and the moving water behind has really bought out the detail
and what a mouth full

Very nice image Scott..looks as if he's got a four course meal to go! (Can't see any noise to worry about on my screen).

Sharpness is more mportant than noise any day. You did right Scott. Great opportunist capture. Its so satisfying snapping a bird in the wild so to speak. paul
