Sorry folks but it's another Dipper to share...still on a buzz after last week's shoot. As mentioned the light down at this place was awful...bright sunshine one minute and then trying to get shots of them in a very dark area...add the contrast of white and dark of the bird and you can imagine the number of duffers on my card. This ain't sharp by any means and a shutter speed of 1/40th normally goes straight into the recycle bin but I am hoping I can get away with this as I love the detail on the water and the pose of the bird....the fact I had a tripod perched on a rock in the pool helped Smile Got a few others I would really like to share but will hold them back for a while after this...lol

Had to wait a while for my UA to become available. A simply superb capture with terrific plumage detail, colours and patterning, grand eye and the beakful of food a bonus. Love the water detail and the dark clean bg tones which isolate this beautiful bird to perfection. Congrats on the HC and other UAs - really well deserved Smile
