Taken on an otherwise fine day in the summer on Redcar beach. The weather in the distance towards Huntcliffe and Saltburn was very threatening!

Like this, it's a very moody shot & the boat on the beach gives FG interest

The looming menace in the sky reminds me why I'm happier on land! There's not a soul to be seen on the beach: bet they think like me....
Superb shot.

Sorry about the double comment - my computer is so slow to react today that I've clicked the mouse twice in frustration..

Love this shot Mike, its full of mood, you can feel the heaviness of the sky, well captured, Adrian
Very appealing atmospheric shorescape! Some nice highlights on the water.

Good squally pic, Mike. At least the squall is delineated; today it was one massive system, from one horizon to the other. This looks better.
Terry.
A superbly composed beachscape, the sky looks really threatening
You really get a feel of the approaching rain in the large version. Great composition.
Thank you everyone for all the kind word, clicks and th RC!
