Nearer home, and from the archives (before the Canons).
Taken on an otherwise fine day in the summer on Redcar beach. The weather in the distance towards Huntcliffe and Saltburn was very threatening!
1/210s @ f8.2
There is much more to see if you choose to view large. Thank you for looking, Mike
Super shot Mike. Lovely composition (the horizon is straight (LOL)) and I hope you didn't get wet with the imminent rain. Very moody pic.
Excellent light and sky Mike well composed too.
Fantastic seascape, all the elements fit and work well.
great shot. Love the storm brewing in the background!
This really is a fine shot. It certainly shows the change in weather, and of course the storm light is always spectacular.
Like this, it's a very moody shot & the boat on the beach gives FG interest
The looming menace in the sky reminds me why I'm happier on land! There's not a soul to be seen on the beach: bet they think like me....
Sorry about the double comment - my computer is so slow to react today that I've clicked the mouse twice in frustration..
Love this shot Mike, its full of mood, you can feel the heaviness of the sky, well captured, Adrian
Great capture of a moody scene. Well done.
Very appealing atmospheric shorescape! Some nice highlights on the water.
Captured the sense of in-coming storm superbly - wonderful sky and the light is fantastic.
Good squally pic, Mike. At least the squall is delineated; today it was one massive system, from one horizon to the other. This looks better.
sky to die for Mike, nice one
Goodness...'threatening' is the word! And look at the lovely blue sky in the foreground! VERY well composed, Mike
A superbly composed beachscape, the sky looks really threatening
Another corker, the sky especially makes this stand out.
You really get a feel of the approaching rain in the large version. Great composition.
Beautiful moody beach scene..... wonderful detail with great tones and superb viewed large. Karen
