As absurd as it sounds, i still cannot bring myself to organize a shoot with someone because i know ill make mistakes yet my next shoot with a female model has to be perfect, has to be something which stands out, so im at home giving my studio lights a much needed airing, being a bit more experimental.
The key light being above me, just a reflector, no light box or brolly, same with the second light, which was waist height and covered with a snazzy blue gel.
Why?
Primarily to highlight what i wore, the leggings are new and i wanted a few images to use in a produce review, in most cases most things would be illuminated simply and classically, but i wanted a little edge to them, and the blue light complimented the styling and makeup perfectly.
This was near the end of the shoot where i was just messing about with my hair. Loving the lips, no makeup on them at all, just copious amounts of Vaseline Lip Therapy Cocoa Butter, to make them look bigger and fuller, seems to have done the job perfectly.
As for the lighting, it is far from perfect, and im not keen on blue gels but used wisely, they sometimes work, and i think i got the colour balance about right, so i am quite happy with the look.
The first time i picked the camera up this year so far ![]()

I like the blue light, but not the double shadow.
the top works well too.
Nice to see you posting again.![]()
You wear the top and leggings very well.
I agree with Jack about the lighting, maybe stand a bit further away from the backdrop next time.
