Psalm 78:13 He divided the sea and caused them to pass through, And He made the waters stand up like a heap.

Not sure what was going on here at Ballintoy Harbour (N. Ireland) but there seemed to be some sort of religious service. Some tourists seen this as a great photo opportunity and climbed this bank behind them to steal a shot I chose a higher (out of the way) POV in order to best capture the huge waves rolling in.

Here in this capture it looks like the man is holding a staff and dividing the waters, you know like the biblical story of Moses and the Israelites.

Fascinating shot... although it did make me think of 'The Wicker Man'. Hopefully they weren't all heading off for a human sacrifice though... lol.

I really like this - there is a story playing out in the scene and that just grabs the imagination! The violence of the sea just enhances the whole thing!

Without the people I don't think this would have worked, but with them included it becomes a fantastic photograph! Nice one!

A very interesting image. Well taken too. It looks very religious what-ever they are up to. Druids maybe?

Scary waves well captured & the humans are humbled by the size of the waves.

Another great image Steve. You’ve managed to capture the waves beautifully, very powerful. No large version?
