Classic!
I assume he can't read ![]()
A little tight in the frame maybe but a photo like this should be a good seller.
Well done.
Geoff.
Agree with Geoff, a little more space at the bottom maybe. But such a great shot, fantastic detail and the humour makes this a winner. Nice one.

Hi johnjo,as mentioned the image is a little tight in the frame...However I often struggle with composition and beat myself up with what's right or wrong !!
I had a similar idea not so long ago,but never carried it through....wish I had now ![]()
For innovation, detail and pose I award my UA
Excellent mate & I love it.
Thank you all for your positive input on this photograph and for your observations about the tightness of the framing, you have a point. It is very affirming; finding the Kingfishers, getting the hide sorted out, perches etc. was a six month project, which has been very worth while. Of course taking the photographs and watching these amazing little birds is reward in itself, but your votes and comments have made it doubly so, thank you all.
Also special thanks to Dean for his UA, it means a lot to me.

Perfectly timed and captured - just love that expression of flouting authority. I do agree with Dean that perhaps the crop is a tad tight and as you have such a wonderful clean bg I might have been tempted to extend the canvas upwards to give more headroom. However, this is still a stunning and very original capture - simply superb.
