Dianne, I like the idea of removing the 'blob' to the left of his ear,
tried..but I cannot do it on my own photo..so please someone would you try it for me?

Without the blob your image is great. But never mind worrying about that, it really is a super capture.

Lillian - this is a terrific shot (as all from your Longleat series). I am in Warminster tomorrow and hoping the weather holds as I will be hoping to venture to Longleat too (a place I worked at some 25 years ago - the woodland not the Safari Park).

A really good front on image which I felt was a touch soft on the focus and have uploaded a mod for you which addresses that issue I have also added to the shadow on the left of frame to increase the contrast of the image - hope you like it!

Thank you for your advice, I hope that you get to Longleat... watch out for an article in the photographers Monthly next week (Sept issue) for what happened to me there!!

I am thrilled with all the comments...thank you, also the modifications, they are such a good varied lot....again thanks, after looking at them all I like Barmymarny'sthe best as she has kept the golden look to him, but need 'that blob' to go as well by left ear! thank you all
