This is a close up of the door knocker in the inner door of Carsibrooke castle (not sure why they would need a knocker on the inner door!!!) It may have something to do with its former uses as a prison, when King Charles 1st was imprisoned there.

Weathered wood, rusting iron - super textures and colours - Nice one, H! (might have been tempted to take it straight on, though - but then, maybe the shadows would not have been so interesting?)
