I've been past this scene any number of times, with the thought that one day I would capture it. The light was quite nice last week and so this was the day I did it. See what you think...

Interesting shot, with a beautiful view. Good catch.

Great photo, although I think the boarder is a bit heavy for the image (personal choice I guess?).Where is the location in Dorset?

Nice shot. The hill is Colmers hill and sits above a smashing little village called Symondsbury. All sandstone and thatch.
How do I know? The Boss comes from there and as the family are still there we visit on a regular basis. Views from the hill are terrific and on a clear day three counties can be seen. There are also some terrific walking to be had in the area.

Nice composition and lighting. It works well as a panorama. Ian mentioned Symondsbury and I seem to recall there's a nice pub there too.

This is a cracker ! The trees are small but they stand out well because of the composition.

It has taken me ages to finally stop and shoot this. I can't begin to remember how many times I've said I must stop one day and... Well thanks to everyone who stopped as I did and looked.
