Yep, Dougie was here to accompany me on a hike up to the summit of Ben A'an(1490ft) in The Trossachs. For his first ever mountain he put on a good show, even when the Highland Midges were trying their best to eat us alive. Here's to the next one Dougie.

You and Dougie are so lucky to have the opportunity to visit such great places Pete! Great moment to celebrate and capture! Nice one!

I have just seen Dougie's shots from the top and this is excellent too with the long expanse of L. Katrine beyond. When I was there a year ago it was rather hazy and the distant detail was lost but you have haf a lovely crisp day. Very nice shot indeed.

That was a great morning Peter, thanks again for the opportunity to go up my first mountain with an experienced friend. You skipped up that hill like a youngster, and I puffed and panted behind you, thankful that you were there to point out the easier way to go.

Great shot....good portrait of the man and the view beyond is excellent...great depth to the shot.

I like the image colours Pete. I also like the fact that Dougie went with you. Dougie always enjoys the images we post so its good to see Dougie up there getting some images himself.

I hope you enjoyed it Dougie.

Richie.
