The lighthouse was built by the engineering brothers David and Thomas Stevenson with a total elevation of 32 metres, the staircase has 71 steps and the light has a normal range of 24 miles

Gosh, a ten minute exposure to capture this shot: the rail acts as a strong lead in to the focal point so effectively.
A well considered viewpoint found in very low light conditions.
