While wandering around in the sunshine looking for bullfinches in my local graveyard, I heard the gentle cooing of doves which were roosting in the steeple of the old church. In the distance 3 white ones appeared flying fast towards their roost and I caught this one just before it landed.

Featured e2 photo at the moment.

It's a really good shot, though it might be a tad over-exposed as it looks like the dove's body might be a bit blown out in places.

Dave, I intended to reduce the exposure a little and add another version as I see what you mean - the body looks blown out - but the exposure does seem to be 'correct' as there are no highlight alerts and I cannot get any more detail either. Thanks for your comment - it has taught me to look very carefully at exposure.
