I was out doing some gardening today (couldn't put it off any longer) and came across this specimen. I reluctantly parked the wheelbarrow and dashed inside for the camera and took a few shots before it flew away.
I realise that it doesn't compare to some of the fine macro shots uploaded by others but wondered if any of the experts could identify exactly what it is? A Hawker perhaps?
V1 is a crop from V2.
Many thanks to those who commented and voted on my last upload - Neist Point 2.

Rubbish! It's absolutely fine.....both versions.
Marvellous clarity here, you need to drop that wheelbarrow more often, the crop is really good too putting the detail amongst the lovely sot colour bokeh.
Excellent lens and so well used.
Dougie
It is an excellent macro shot and the fine details stands out beautifully against the flowers, especially in the crop.
