Same Dragonfly as yesterday, just a different angle.
Thankyou for all your C&C's, always stunned by your interest.
Have a good day
Give you the species yesterday, excellent clarity on V1! To get the both in focus on V2 means setting the camera at f16 or smaller I would go for f22, this then means slow shutter speed so use of tripod required, with your lens the DOF is very shallow at the long end.
A couple of crackers, I like the pair in cop, well done.
This one and yesterdays, are Common darters, the red one is the male
Two super macro images.
Cheers Trev, I was frightened to go too small in case I lost the shallow DoF, but I will give it a try if the opportunity arises again
I thought they were too big to be Damselflies, I thought maybe, a small chaser of some sort.
Nice detail and I do like this angle. Carole
Stunning detail in this Jackie.
fabulous images Jackie
two absolute stunners jackie half a vote each today can't split these two very very nice ones
Good effort.....V2 for me
Stunning macro images - really must try to find me some of these!!
I don't think these are damselfly - one clear difference between damsels and dragons is that damsel eyes do not touch at the top (as these appear to). If you google 'large red damselfly' you will see what I mean.
Two excellent detailed images...........Sandy
Great work Jackie, both versions look excellent to me.
You have excelled here with both of these Jackie..perfect shots
and really envious! and have now stopped trying to do these...
Will leave to the experts
Trev has given some great advice too
