Went out early this morning with Phil Morgan.
Had a bit of trouble reaching this spot, roads were covered in ice and after a few attempts we decided to park and walk!
When we finally reached the tree we waited for a long time for the sun to come out from behind the clouds. It finally made an appearance but ironically I like this one better, this was shot during the wait!!

Thanks for looking, all comments welcome

Love this, lone tree in just the right place and exposure perfect, gives us lots of detail in the snow. Brill! maryg

The wait must of been worth while.
But this one is great depth and mood.

I like this a lot but I think losing the cloud top centre would improve it a tad, try scrolling up and down to see what I mean.

Thanks very much for the comments and votes everyone Smile
Sam, I've tried and I agree with you, should've cropped the cloud!
Thanks for the award Colin Smile

Worth the frozen toes, Rob. I agree with Sam about the cloud but it's a minor point compared with the overall image.
