Very nice - clear and sharp with the 'folds' of snow giving an interesting effect. The tree is placed just right to add interest to the image. The slight toning works well too.

The only thing I would suggest is a bit of cropping from the left of the photo. The detail towards to top left on the ground may be a slight distraction. I've uploaded a mod which I hope you'll find of interest.

this really nice, the simple grey tones work so much better than a blue sky would have, the black fence line leading into the image and over the hump on the horizon balanced with the recession created by the layers of drifts. the tree acts as a stopper on the third and the whole thing hangs together very well.
im not one for the crop left as i think it balances well with the the similar area on the right
Phil
if you go for a crop, consider the one i just put up as a square.

Your mod works well too, maybe I'll go back to the original and try a square crop Smile

Great shot. Lovely texture on the snow.

I like Carabosse's mod, too. The crop changes the feel of the image and focusses attention more on the wall. I can't decide which I prefer.

If I was to go for a crop I would have the first version with the fold of the snow going into the corner. It's a damn fine image enhanced by the monochrome conversion and toning. Wonderful work with the light and exposure.
