Really a shot to nothing but it works amazingly well - it is just so simple - but cunning also. The foam and sky sort of echo each other which adds interest and the colors are just superb. The seaweed stem is also a great device to get us into the image.

So glad you decided to upload this -

Robert

Peaceful, relaxing, calming all words that I would use to discribe this image Mari.

The way the water seems to be gently washing the sand, look at the texture that it has caused once it has receeded.

Love the branch, set it off perfectly giving the eye something to focus on and keep you in the image.

Would look great on a wall where peace and traquility are needed.

Take care.

Hi Mari, nice sharp image, like the water movement, would be tempted to crop portrait to right of log and small section off right side. But thats just my thoughts

I like the way you placed the driftwood in the scene and how the colours from the sky are reflected between the gorgeous whites of the surf. You have also captured the texture and colours of the sand very well. Well captured shot.

Beautifully composed, so many images like this are cropped to the vertical and lose the feel of the beach, this is just so beautiful because it's wide and allows the image to breath. The curve of foam with the branch is just perfection for me Mari, nicely done.

All the very best
Dougie
