Taken from a recent shoot on new brighton beach, there was half a dozen photographers here on this particular night, they all focussed in on the lighthouse, i used the driftwood for some foreground interest, i also wanted this type of water movement on the photograph.

What a beautiful seascape and composition, Ray, the lighthouse classically positioned in the frame: you have been very successful in capturing the swirl of the f/g wave, and the patterning of the clouds could not be better.
Despite my less than perfect eyesight I can make out what looks like multiple windmills of an off shore wind farm on the far horizon........something that is creeping into more and landscapes.
Ronnie.

Excellent shot. I awarded this a GEA for the lovely movement in the backwash and the clouds. Marvellous.
