From winter 2010 - uploaded to mark today's announcement that the human remains unearthed last year under Greyfriars car park, Leicester by the University of Leicester are in all probability those of King Richard III of England 1483 – 1485.
"Now is the winter of our discontent."
Thanks for all the C&Cs on 'Lionheart'.
Best wishes,
Philip

... made glorious by this sun of York! A sad day for the white rose when he was killed.
Lovely green/white tones and a strong composition, Philip.

That's really stunning news about the unearthed remains - should make the world news too I'd think.
Lovely found still life. The contrasts between leaves and icicles is particularly pleasing.

This is a truly super shot. I love the beautiful icicles looking great against the greenery. Well taken ![]()
2010 was a good winter for icicles for me too, but I didn't get nearly as good a shot as this!
