A good try. Two things i think. I would tilt the camera so that the twig goes corner to corner, then you need a sharper image. You are using a compact and the exposes at is400 suggests low light, but you are going to get camera shake at 1/56 sec.
Difficult to deal with. The only answer really is a tripod.

As all ready mentioned above a very difficult image to capture with your settings and without using a tripod. Another way to achieve such an image, is to use some poetic licence. Next time you prune your roses, keep a section. Take it in doors place it across to glasses on your windowsill, spray with water, then using your camera mounted on a tripod fire away until your heart is content.

The critical quality for a shot like this Ania is that it must be sharp.
Ive uploaded a sharpened mod, and you can see quite a difference. This shot is soft, and thats either due to the fact that it wasnt sharp when you took it, - or if the original does look sharp, but not on here, then you need to save the re sized image, than sharpen it, and only then upload it.
Apart from that, tilting you camera as Paul suggests would improve the composition.
