This is the oldest building in Swellendam. It was built in the early 1700's as the official residence for the first Magistrate that was sent from Cape Town to establish law and order in what was at that time the furthest outpost of the Dutch East Company. Swellendam is the third oldest town in South Africa.
Thanx for the kind comments and votes on my Sunflowers and especially to Eric for the modification.
Have a wonderful day !!
