Nice portrait of your lovely little dog, try to focus more on the eyes though rather than his nose, this is one I shot of my little chap http://www.ephotozine.com/user/phil-j-44156/gallery/photo/first-studio-sitting-3... maybe select a larger f number to increase the depth of field, try it again, would like to see some more.

I agree about the focus, there's great detail on the nose but the eyes are soft and it would be better the other war round. Looks like a delightful dog though.
