Good day folks, many thanks to everyone for your interest in yesterdays upload.
Todays offering is a couple of Dukes, these are a bit special in that they are of a second brood for the year, a relatively unusual event for this variety of butterfly.

Two magnificent shots of this tiny butterfly, you've captured its colours and markings beautifully. There were a few second brood Dukes at Rodborough Common in Stroud, but I did not see any on my recent visit
