The Duke of Gordon monument on Torr Alvie, west of Aviemore. Taken on my Sunday morning trip to Loch Pityoulish on a fabulous misty frozen morning. The Duke seemed to have an inordinate number of monuments erected across the Highlands by 'grateful' tennants!

Marvellous light across the mist covered land, a wonderful experience for you and us.

A wonderful morning to be up there, and too cold for the mozzies? Well composed, Al, got the horizon on the lower third, negative space on the upper 2/3s but darker in tone so you naturally focus on that nicely lit 'island' in the mist. The dark diagonal corner of closer trees gives the depth. A lovely atmospheric image.

A veritable sea of mist here, and a very well composed image: can't add much to what Dave has already said.
Ronnie.
