Something a little different, still sticking with the mono's but this may be pushing the landscape, sunset thing a little to far for the purist. Phan Thiet, Vietnam on top of the sand dunes I found this local taking in the sunset leant on his bike. How he got there I'm not to sure as the walk up through the soft sand and the breeze blowing sand, normally in you face was a hard enough challenge, getting up there on a bike is something else.

I don't how but I even seen water buffalo up here Les. well composed shot and converted mono and the light on sand ripples is magical.

Really like this Les. The light has created a nice textural effect on the dunes. Delightful capture with good tonal range.

The light on the sand ripples is sublime and makes the image. Brave to consider monochrome, but it works beautifully.

There's probably a little walk way just behind the sand dunne just out of sight,,local knowledge and all that,,very simple and at the same time very appealing,,
