I had the 50mm lens on the camera when I spotted them, which wasn’t ideal. A little set uploaded in reverse chronological order.
Thanks for looking,
Moira

The first shall be the last, indeed. Think it works better that way, nicely done.

That's the best walkway I have seen in years Moira. What is it's purpose in real life..to lead people onto a pile of stones?
It acts as a good if not overpowering lead in.

Nice to see a bit of blue sky on this Monday morning Moira.
Had some dreadful weather over the weekend here, and it is no better this morning !!
Agree with Pascals comment about a postcard.
I wish I was there !!

Nice shot, from the candid lady, odd that you were not hidden in the stony slope of the beach here, for the POV from there, as I remember the slope of the beach is like the side of a mountain. Would have liked to have seen it after 30 years...That was the last time I was fishing there...Gulp!! I really should get out more....Chen

Otis Redding - Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay - springs to mind, even though they are on a beach, Moira.
Excellent candids and that 50 lens gives a great feeling of themm being alone with loads of 'personal space' around them.

Thanks everyone, a lot has happened in my absence! Been very busy, taken and processed about 120 pictures for the town, I need a drink! I'll try to catch up on what's been going on now.
V3 will get its own day...

'Excellent color, clarity, & artful composition,' Moira, on all three images. For me, 'the middle distance runner,' *v2*, is the most effective. Just my opinion, & I know that v3, is 'favored by a wide margin.' I just think the *v2*, midversion, gives the viewer more details of the couple in addition to their 'adequate surroundings.' Appreciate your recent feedback on my work, Moira.

Picnic at the end of the pier, but I think it's along way down to dangle their feet in the water. Composition is probably best in V1. A nice find and well photographed.
