I have been trying to process this image in PS and have already uploaded it twice before (apologies) but I was still unhappy with my results (print anyway).
So I started again with the original RAW image (version 2) and processed it exactly as per Paul Morgan's video instructed.
I know that my image is different to what he started with, but I was curious to see what he was doing with his image.
I processed mine with the exact same settings as his and here was the result...........I was very impressed..........it really shows in the print.

Too much saturation for me, it looks unnatural, and I'm not convinced about the horizon being so high with all that dark mass. I would look a little higher and make more of the sky, I think.
Better still, wait until the sun goes down and shoot the colours of the sky then.

Definitely V2.
I'm not sure what's happened to the dark portion in V1 but it's suffering from something.
As Sooty says, there's a lot of dark there. It might look better with some cropped from the bottom which will coincidentally place the horizon on something like a third. (And you never thought you'd hear me say that!)

I've uploaded a mod. in which I've cropped some from the bottom and adjusted the saturation and colours. It could probably do with havig some cropped from the side(s) as well but hopefully, you'll get the idea.

Perhaps you are trying to force the best out of a mediocre composition ?
I can see the allure of the mood with ruins and the sky , but the ruins cut directly into the horizon line , 25% of the image is a black blob and the sun has neither the cloud cover or is low enough to prevent its overexposure.
Looks a great place to re-visit with either a higher or lower viewpoint and shift to the left !

Looking at it again, its pretty naff.....but it was my first go at a sunset
