Captured this little Dunnock lurching around in the undergrowth at the end of our property. At first I thought it was a young Robin, however after further investigation I found it to be the said Dunnock.

Thank you for all your wonderful comments regarding yesterdays Silly Sunday upload, there were some quite hilarious captions, very difficult to pick a favourite as the competition was so high. A special mention to John for his UA.

I hope that you all have a great day ahead, for me it looks quite wet and miserable, so a walk with my Support Walker will be on the cards.

Regards Nathan

The Dunnock is a hedge sparrow as apposed to the so called common house sparrow I'm told, or cockney sparrow as termed in London! good detail Nathan, if you mimic their sound they answer back, will become quite tame in no time at all, nice one like it, regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrin

Delightful Dunnock image Nathan. We have several in our garden and have put a cage sanctuary down for them
so they can feed off the ground in safety from Sparrow Hawks.

A fine shot of this dunnock or hedge accentor Nathan, you did well to snap it with the 300mm lens. Until I purchased the longer 500mm sigma I found photographing small birds a real nightmare unless they were tame robins or blackbirds
