A Dunnock (Prunella modularis) taken in the garden at the beginning of November. This shy little bird preferred to perch in the red acer shrub rather than venture far enough forward to enable me to capture a smooth red background!

Thank you for your C&Cs on yesterday's Sparrow upload - very much appreciated Smile

Lovely photograph Sylvia, the acer looks great. I think you have done well to get him on a perch, whenever I seem them they are on the ground

Sharp as a tack SylviaSmile

I have them scuttling all around me at the woods, but very rarely venture onto the perches.
In fact, the last decent one I nailed, was at the Donna Nook car park, where they do come up for a while
See you Friday eveningTongue

Very nicely captured Sylvia. Love the natural environment and always a bonus to get them off the ground. My favourite songster
