Nothing special about this shot of a crooked old tree at dusk but there's just something about this photo that I like and I keep going back to it. This shot was taken at dusk last Autumn in Glenveagh National Park in Donegal - I was beating a hasty retreat before it was dark and I was stuck down there on my own when the moon just peeped over the hill above me, it looked really special that night, not sure I've quite captured it here but did my best! Smile Thanks for checking out my pic! Kerry

Its a great shot and I can appreciate its magnetic quality (been back to look at it a few times myself). I think it is something to do with the interplay between the two shapes tree and moon and also perhaps the hints of moonshadow along the ridge. A super image.

This is a wonderfully magical image. The colors, the silhouettes, the mystery...it should be on a wall.
