Went to see what turned out to be a failed electric car land speed record attempt at Pendine last Sunday. Not deterred Paul (PEBishop) and I went on to see what Marloes Sands had to offer. The tide was turning but as it was a neap tide the sea didn't really yield much of its grip on the high tide mark so sea spray, filter scrubbing and a soaking were the order of the day. The post sunset colour temperature appealed to me in this one. Hope you like it and thanks for looking.

Hello Alun,

your image is truly inspirational.

I don't live too far from Marloes. The couple times I've visited, the tide has been in. Must use my tide table more often!

Frank.

The foreground pebbles are exquisite. I agree with you on the post-sunset color temperature. I love that "blue hour."
You have a wonderful portfolio of landscapes.

I particularly love the pebbles here - very 3D, it feels like I could just reach out and pick up a handful!

Thanks all. Smile The coloured pebbles on this beach, combined with the dramatic rock formations make it a firm favourite of mine.

The lack of sky is amply made up for by the little jewels of colour in the fg detail. The ghostly water movement goes well with the image, lovely work.
