A well caught shot, nice details captured.
But I do agree about a tad more contrast, this would bring out the details better under the beak, and around the eye.

hello,
not a bad attempt of this beautiful bird, the beak is sharp as is the eye and there is a nice brightness and catchlight to the eye which also helps.
compositionally i think it would have been better if you had placed the head a little less central and more to the right side giving space to the left. a slightly lower position may have lost that rather distracting pale brown line running horizontally across frame.
also i feel its slightly overexposed and that a touch more sharpening may lift the detail in the feathers.
i havnt shot any for a good few years, ill have to have another bash, you have whet my appitite.
Phil
Not a bad shot, but lacking in composition, contrast and colour balance.
I have loaded a mod with these areas addressed, and taking Phils comments above into account and as example of what you can do with this nice shot with a little work.
regards
Willie
