Taken at the Birds of Prey yesterday in Andover, just before getting soaked to the skin with hailstones.

Have left the branch at the bottom, why? because to me it is more natural

Thanks everyone for your time on the Easter visit and the mods that were done

Taken with the Canon 5D mark iii

Hi Lillian, a really well detailed in flight shot, I do get your point re the branch at the front being natural, you are quite right, but after looking at it for several minutes my eye keeps wondering down to it and that (IMHO) is because it's in focus and distracts from the main subject a little. We all have different views and I appreciate that but I think it would look better taken out, only my personal view though, BTW...the BG habitat looks lovely,
Regards,
Geoff.

The in flight capture of the bird and the bg are great Lillian but the branch at the bottom keeps catchng my eye and it's a bit of a nuisance!!! I would prefer the shot without the branch. Good job we're all different isn't itWinkWink

What an awesome in flight shot!!!

Honestly? I was focusing (no pun intended) on the eagle in flight too much to notice the branch. For me, the branch is fine.

I feel inclined to agree, the bird is in flight so the branch is unnecessary IMO but your choice
