Taken a couple of years ago at Berrington Hall, a National Trust Property near Leominster in Herefordshire.

A lovely sharp image, ****, the feathers are almost tactile! Not that I would recommend that as it does look so cross and its beak looks rather fierce!

Love that 'headmasterly" gaze and 'pose', ****: it does remind me of my old headmaster [beak] who'd look down his nose in distaste at me......in this case down it's beak quiteliterally.
Two fine images, V 2 showing off that much more detail in the portrait crop.
