Unfortunately couldn't fit the whole animals in the frame as I had my long lens on and couldn't go back any further without losing the picture altogether.

No need to move back and have whole images. This is better as closer usually is. Feet, tails and wingtips are expendable. It is a given that these animals have feet and tails the story is what counts and you show that clearly. TG
