Early light on the Isle of Lewis in late December ( a compressed shot )
Think im really falling for landscape photography
Works for me Brian ( very technical comment)
Title says it for me KIn good one
Great light and depth.
Really like this one. (As you can see, my comment is almost as technical as Phil's )
The lighting in this is so good and so very subtle.
Beautiful vista, super colours, the purples in the heather really come through.
Nicely captured Brian,
Love the simplicity of this..it just works! Great colour and light. Andy I
Beautifully soft with crisp outlines. Love that little streak of cloud.
Love the lines and the layers - strong tones in the f/g then the rest gradually succumbing to the mist and making the distance appear greater than it is in reality.
I remeber this one from our Amazing Journey Brian, I looked for my version of this but got sidetracked. One of these days.
All the very best my friend,
Superb work again KIn, love the layers in this one
Beautifully captured all these layers of hills,
Lovely layering and light in this Kin.
I like the layers here Kin.
Nice. Looks like a start to a great day Kin.
This being taken in Lewis means that hill has to be Clisham in Northern Harris, lovely shot Brian and I can't help remarking how you and Dougie got much better weather in December than I usually got in July!
Perfect gradation of colour intensity as you move from the horizon to the forground.
Lovely picture...gives a real sense of scale.
