An early morning start in Elgol, looking across Loch Scavaig towards Sgurr Na Stri and the rapidly disappearing BlackCuillin Hills. A cloudy morning so even though it was not long after sunrise, there was no sun to be seen.

Apologies to the folk who clicked and commented earlier but I decided to remove the previous version and go back to the drawing board and re-process the image totally. Thank you Ed (Rhodes) for the observations Smile

That's nice. I like it. There is good light in it even though there was no sun. It makes a pleasant change from the usual glowing skies. Your composition, photography and presentation are excellent.

You've actually got two tremendously dramatic images in this one Jeanie. Tke off the sky and you still have a great shot, then the extra drama of the sky to some extent draws the eye away from the fg rocks and color. That's the kind of day that works wonder for images of Elgol and works wonders for the complexion too.

Wow this is really moody and atmospheric, I love it.... wish I was looking at it on my desktop (broken monitor) rather than the laptop.

I wonder if some of the more well travelled gents on here moisturize tooWink? Hmmm too many thoughts spinning off that one, maybe we shouldn't go thereTongue

Barney
