This is the second image in my 'within the sound of Bow Bells series'. Thank you for all your C&C's for yesterday's upload.
This house and what used to be an old shop, caught my eye because its another reminder of the East End's transient past. Historically an area where many folk of all walks of life and from many different lands have settled, and eventually moved on only to be replaced by another community.
Thanks as always for looking.

If these wonderful places could talk they could tell some real tales of the past. I know I am going to enjoy this series Charlotte

The Jews arrived after the Huguenots, before the Bangladeshis... Just one of the waves of migrants who found a haven here. I guess that within a generation most traces will have disappeared. Beautiful, sad, evocative image.

Fascinating image Charlotte. Love the contrast of the sombre Victorian architecture and the garish 21st C grafitti.
