It looks like very well preserved rust Bill. You have done too good a job.

really like the tones, Bill.
maybe, it is just a thought, I'd have prefered a more central position of the sleeper, to enhance the symmetry.
I really like the tones of the pebbles in the BG, echoing the rust of the subject.

I always miss my rust this time of year Bill, with my annual Fringe uploads,so it is always a welcome sight for me.Good to see a fine bit of the brown gritty stuff again.
Nice one.
Mick.

Rails make such fine rust. Sad to see the state of disrepair in them though. This is a beauty. I might crop in from the viewer's left to eliminate the background tie, personal preference...

Well seen Bill, interesting how the centers have rusted away first.
Good tones and light too.

I think this was the spot where the rails were linked by fishplates bolted on, so the decay worked from the inside outwards.

Shows a lack of culture on my part, but I first thought of Doris Day singing "Buttons & Bows" when I read your title.
I stand corrected Bill.

I'm sure Mikbee will be back on the right track again after seeing this, I've been worried recently that he's started to go off the rails and get ideas above his station!
