Went to Whitby with the camera for the first time this morning and came up with this, from the less photographed East Pier. I'd love to know what people think, positive & negative
Enjoy the rest of your weekend
This is excellent, but then I'm a fan of long exposure shots like this. Colours are good and you've chosen a good POV. Great shot.
Love this pic it works so well.
Great image Den, nicely composed !
Negative there can be no negatives, this is absolutely stunning in my eyes. - gary
Stunning image, super lighting, and exposure.
fine shot, Den...............
Yep,it's the dogs thingmies.A truly splendid shot.
It is less photographed, and you've composed the image superbly.
It's a fantasic shot.
Beautifully composed image. Tones are fabulous.........Sandy
lovely comp, like the placement of your horizon, nice soft colours. excellent work.lesley
Dennis this is great I have been meaning to go there.
First of all congratulations to you and Helen. I only managed to catch up with your PF today. I thought you were busy with work and had disappeared from EPZ!
Also well done with the OP publication and I am looking forward to seeing it.
This image and like the rest of your images have lovely natural colours. This is a stunning long exposure capture and I've never seen it captured at this angle before.
have a great weekend Den
A wonderful pov, terrific processing and an all round beauty of an image
nicely done Dennis, be good in mono to i feel
Thanks for the award Thair. You've made my day
A big thanks to everybody else who's voted and commented too
I like it, but would be tempted to try a mono version. Nice one
Really nice shot - lovely colours and great comp.
This is lovely. Smashing composition.
Only just come across your PF Dennis and its been an absolute pleasure looking through it, one that's now been added to the favourites list just to make sure that I don't miss an image!
With regards the image above, your usual high standard, spot on composition and the long exposure works very well.
Beautiful shot, excellent exposure and comp.
I feel that your photos have a very simple composition, with stunning quality - keep up the great work...
Works for me Dennis.
This is a very fresh looking image and I love the simplicity of it. The horizon being level with the top of the fencing seems to bother me and I'm not sure why? Makes it more interesting though.
Wonderful simplicity and subtle colours here Den.
The one thing that bugs me about this Den is the sky. There's either too much or it looks too muddy, can't decide which.Would of probably been better if the clouds were going straight into the pic if you see what I mean.
Thanks Jon. I'll give that some though. Might be a nice one to try again with a Northerly blowing some clouds straight in from the sea...
